I'm an Art Director and Brazilian import who comes from a background in filmmaking and so I always approach art direction and design as a storyteller. We always need to surprise our audience and earn their attention and every decision we make needs to have a reason to be.
I grew up on punk, Bossa Nova, b-horror movies and old James Bond VHS tapes… also Die Hard is the greatest Christmas movie ever. And Seinfeld has the answers to most of life’s questions.
Finally I think the world would be a poorer place without carnitas tacos and ramen. And also goiabada. And resy.
And of course art.
